Member Summer Outing at Essex Yacht Club

MEMBERS, PAST PRESIDENTS, SPONSORS & THEIR GUESTS WELCOME!

It’s that time of year again and we are hosting our annual Summer Social at the scenic Essex Yacht Club. Members and an invited guest are welcome, as well as Past Presidents and our Sponsors. As always, you can look forward to enjoying a cocktail reception on the beautiful patio overlooking the Marina starting at 5:30 p.m., followed by a buffet dinner in the main dining room.

This year, we will once again be having our “Wall of Wine” raffle, so all guests are asked to bring a bottle (or two!) of wine to contribute. All proceeds will be divided up for the benefit of two very worthy causes: (i) the CREW Network Foundation and (ii) a scholarship to contribute towards one lucky attendee’s expenses to attend the 2025 CREW Network Convention, which will be held in Austin, Texas this October (scholarship application details to follow). So, bring on the wine and let’s raise as much as we can!

This event cost $80 per person. Sailing is an additional fee of $40 per person.

Come early and enjoy optional activities:

Come Sail Away! (4pm-5:30pm) – Spots available for sailing, but they are limited. Essex/CT River Museum. Meet at 3:30pm at the dock. CREW members/guests can enjoy a scenic late afternoon cruise along the CT River on the historic Onrust - a re-creation of the sailing vessel Adriaen Block built in 1614. This is a private charter just for our Summer Social attendees! Cost is: $40/person. Food and drink are allowed so feel free to bring your own. With limited space, register early!
